Rest in peace to a great actor who gave so much.

One of my favourites films is ID and he was superb in that, playing a pub landlord on what was based on a true story.

He will be very much missed.

He also delivered one of the best lines in comedy history from Blackadder the Third when playing a mill owner father of Miranda Richardson.

Blackadder: "He ( the Prince Regent ) wants your daughter for his wife"
Clarke as Mill Owner: "Well his wife can't have her!"

Pure gold!!

RIP Warren. A face full of character, played some memorable roles. Always enjoyed Dalziel and Pascoe - great comfort viewing.
