Strangely the senior MP / Cabinet Minister involved is named in the Telegraph piece, just 12 hours after my radio interview in which I hinted at the fact I was given his name in 1990/91 by a fellow Tory MP!

As a former newspaper editor you have to be very careful about naming names unless you are 100% sure. I have been sure of this guy for many years.

The Telegraph piece (dated July 4th) does not appear to name the MP.

Am I missing something or should I listen to the poetry?

That is a very interesting, harrowing but ultimately inspiring interview. I have a huge amount of respect for you for talking so candidly and honestly about your experiences, which I cannot imagine just how awful they were, and also for pointing out in a very subtle way just who you are referring to - that is extremely brave. I really hope that this inquiry is taken extremely seriously and the perpetrators are brought to account, no matter how long it takes.

Perhaps an investigative journalist would be best to head up this inquiry?
