I'm a terrible self fixer and would rather spend my money with a self employed Albion fan rather than a big corporation.
And my dishwasher is 6+ years old and the numbers have worn off.
My problem is it won't complete the cycle. Stuck on 1 minute but won't dry. A quick google suggests a duff circuit board meaning it won't heat up

These are quite specialist things mate - I doubt your average electrician would know.

More likely than not the PC board. Mine is a BOSCH and a small dry joint on the PCB had blown. Blob of solder and good as new!. Shouldn't be too expensive to purchase and replace.....

Ha, you think a dishwasher is a nessecity? Do me a favour.
As part of my job I do water efficiency audits for people with high water bills and surprised how many have this attitude and cannot do without a dishwasher. Many are under the impression that it's cheaper than washing up.
Total bollocks.
Most just can't be arsed to put in a bit of effort

Yeah fair enough but I've also got a car as I can't be arsed to walk and a mobile phone as all them smoke signals were making my clothes stink (and it was too far to walk to the river to wash them out)
