You need to find everything that you did before and find the energy to play 90 minutes with high tempo. "
Sami Hyypia

Brighton & Hove Albion manager Sami Hyypia has urged his players to carry on the momentum from Tuesday’s win over Wigan into today’s game against Blackburn at the Amex.Albion returned to winning ways against the Latics on Tuesday, and Hyypia wants the players to be on top of their game for the visit of Rovers.
He told seagulls.co.uk, “It’s very easy to switch off, but we need to be professional and mature enough to not do that.
“We need to do the basics very well and we still have a few things that we need to improve on from Tuesday, but the most important thing is to keep the focus. It was a massive result and important to get three points; I didn’t care how the result came.
“It doesn’t matter what the result was in the last game or how you played. The next game is a new battle. We need to find the motivation and build everything up again.
“We can take confidence from the fact we won, but that’s it. You need to find everything that you did before and find the energy to play 90 minutes with high tempo.
“Physically everyone can do it, but mentally it can be harder because you need to be on top of the players to get them ready for the game.”

Hyypia then looked ahead to the test that Rovers will provide today and has encouraged his players to be more creative on the ball and put in an improved passing display.“It will be a difficult game again. It will be a similar test to what we had on Tuesday and they have a few individuals that can hurt you if they are given time.
“They will play with a high tempo, try to be more direct and play more in our half rather than building up from the back.
“We need to be ready for that, but we need to have the courage and cleverness to play football which was lacking a bit on Tuesday.
“We know we can play better than we did on Tuesday and we just need the right mentality for everyone to play football.”
