It is only small things that we are not doing quite right but we will work on these."
Sami Hyypia

Brighton & Hove Albion boss Sami Hyypia felt his team should have made it six out of six from two home fixtures this week, but admitted he was satisfied with four, after today's 1-1 draw with high-flying Blackburn Rovers.Hyypia told seagulls.co.uk, "We deserved a little bit more from the game. Blackburn were not easy to play against. They played direct to their big striker and were trying to get to the second balls.
"That is always very difficult to play against. We were awake for every ball and to make sure that if we didn't win the first one then we got people around the second ball.
"Opponents who can put the ball into the box [like that] are always a danger but and I thought we did well against them and that we deserved a little bit more from the game."
*
Albion went ahead just before the break, as Gary Gardner got his second goal in as many games - but Hyypia felt his side should have gone on and killed off the game from that point.
"Gary was again in the box to score. It was from a set piece and it was great for him to get another goal, but we need to work on things so that when we go ahead in games we can go on and add a second and a third goal.
*
"In truth, we couldn't do anything with their goal – if he [Gestede] tried to repeat it 50 or 100 times then he probably would not score another like that. It was a very good header.
"However, even having let the goal in, with a little bit more quality, we could have got the second goal at the end.
"All we can do is keep working on things. We need to work on getting crosses in and create chances to shoot and we need to keep working on that in training: putting the ball in the net.
"It's not all about hitting it as hard as possible, we don't need to break the net, we just need to be clinical and put the ball in the back of the net.
"We all need to remain positive. It is only small things that we are not doing quite right but we will work on these."

Hyypia has made no secret of the fact that he wants to add extra firepower, but says it is vital to bring the right quality."We need to get somebody who can score goals. It is very difficult to bring someone in with that kind of quality that may be what we need.
"We cannot just bring in numbers we need the quality. We don't want bring in similar players to those we already have, we have to find somebody who offers something else that we don't currently have.
*
"If it happens sooner then that would be great, but if it doesn't then I don't want to rush things. We need to make sure that we get the right one."
