Anyone watch this series,I thought it was quite good the way it was portrayed...they'd never capture the full horrors of WW1 but it was a good effort. Downside was showing it at 7pm in the evenings in half hour serial form. But overall,thumbs up!

Definitely thumbs up. Should be made compulsory viewing for all those politicians and military leaders who think that making war is a game as long as it doesn't involve them.

Very good and quite easy for children to watch, which being at 7pm, is why it shows the implications of war without the actual horrors involved. We've been watching it as a family all week.
