I'm watching a bit of Kolkata, top of Indian Super League, playing Pune on bet365.

Good quality match, passionate crowd, maybe that's because they only have to pay 120 rupees (£1.20), admittedly they're a long way from the pitch but what's not to like?

No chance of it becoming as popular as cricket but will the national team get to the World Cup soon?

I don't know how the Indian clubs can afford to pay the wages of the many foreigners playing for them, maybe they don't need to pay much because of the cost of living.

Del Piero is with Delhi, while ex-Arsenal players Robert Pires and Andre Santos are at Goa (coached by Zico), Freddie Ljundberg and Nicolas Anelka at Mumbai (coached by Peter Reid).

I've heard there are many billionaires in the country so maybe that's it.
