Made for 62p in a Malasian sweatshop by exploited women.

I agree with your principle, but your post is very innacurate.

Cost was £4 or something.
The workers were paid 62p / hour
It is Mauritius

Depending on which bit of t'internet you believe they cost £9 each to make (seems a lot but what do I know about the clothing industry's costs) and sell for £45 (definitely a rip off)

For once I agree with Mr. C why should you jump on a bandwagon to be seen to be supporting something?

Which is exactly why I gave up my job as a proof reader. The point though made me laugh though although not the exploitation part.

How can a t-shirt possibly cost £4 to make when the workers earn 62p an hour? Goodness knows how many a half decent machinist can churn out in an hour. Materials will be pennies.

All across Asia you can buy t-shirts for £2 or £3 and the person selling is still making money from them. Maybe the 'cost' includes shipping and handling to their final destination?
