Brighton & Hove Albion boss Sami Hyypia says Elliott Bennett has already had a positive impact on the squad since his arrival on loan from Norwich City on Saturday.
*
The winger, who signed for Albion on a one-month deal, has quickly slotted in with the rest of the squad and Hyypia believes that his positive character can help the Seagulls get results on the pitch.
*
He told seagulls.co.uk, “Elliott is a good character. I don’t know him very well, but from what he has showed me already, you can see that he has settled well into the group and has had banter with the rest of the squad.
*
“He is a positive player and a positive person. With his skill, dynamics and work rate, he can bring many different qualities to the team."

Hyypia also looked ahead to tomorrow night’s match against Wigan and says that the squad must continue to ignore the outside pressures and focus on what they need to do to improve on the training pitch.
*
“If we manage to win and get six points out of the two games, then that will definitely calm things down outside the club. Inside the club, everyone is calm and I feel that we are addressing the things that we can do much better.
*
“We don’t need to make big changes, we just need to cut out the individual mistakes, defend better and then put the ball in the back of the net by continuing to create chances.
*
“Every game is important and counts for the end position in the table, but we are only focusing on the Wigan game, which won’t be easy."
*
Despite Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth, one of the key positives concerned Sam Baldock opening his goalscoring account for the club and Hyypia hopes that the forward can gain confidence from netting his first goal.
*
“It’s always good when the forward players are scoring goals. For Sam, it’s his first goal here and hopefully that will give him more confidence to score, starting tomorrow night.”[h=3]ALBION V WIGAN
