Brighton & Hove Albion's under-18s fell to a late defeat against Leicester City on Saturday, as an 88th minute winner for the visitors deprived them of a point.
Substitute, Ragnar Mar-Larusson had equalised for the Seagulls, after their early lead had been overturned by the Foxes, but with two minutes left to play Keenan King fired home to give City the three points.
Albion made a wonderful start to the match, as left-back, Dylan Barnett skinned his marker on the wing, before whipping in a cross which eventually fell to James Tilley, who applied a well taken left-footed finish to put the Seagulls in the lead after just ten minutes.
But their strong start was halted just three minutes later, as an in-swinging corner was bundled scrappily over the line to give Leicester an equaliser, after Will Collar had initially cleared the ball off the line.
The Seagulls did threaten to retake the lead however, as Dessie Hutchinson's powerful run and effort forced a good save from Max Smith-Varnham in the Leicester City goal after half an hour.

The teams reemerged for the second half with the scores level, but just five minutes after the restart it was the away side's turn to score an early goal, as Danny Rowe flicked home Brandon Fox's free-kick in the 50th minute.Yet again though the reply was almost instant, as Mar-Larusson, subbed on just five minutes earlier, latched onto Ben White's perfect through ball, before rounding the goalkeeper and retaining his balance brilliantly, to apply a composed finish with defenders hunting him down.
After equalising, the hosts carved out chances to take the lead again, as Tilley's excellent cross from the left wing rolled across the box unconverted on 64 minutes, and Jordan Maguire-Drew saw his long shot saved ten minutes later.
But a very tight match was prevented from being drawn with just two minutes remaining, as Albion were unable to clear a Leicester City attack, allowing King to fire in a late winner for the away side, inflicting Albion's first loss in four games.
