With Elliott and Joe both being Bennetts, one or both will have to wear their first initial on the back of their shirt.

a) Do they both need to, or is it just one?

b) When is the last time this has happened at the Albion?

I'm not sure there is an actual rule stating this must happen, the referee need only take their number to differentiate.

Increasingly, it seems to be the case that nicknames appear on shirts. A quick perusal of NSC should tell the Club that the two names that should be used are:- LEGEND and USELESS.

Was Tommy in the squad for the game at Reading when Gary got sent off?

The Napiers were like Bennetts same name no relation but I think the poster was jesting about being brothers. Surely some team must gave had 2 Smiths at the same time. We had 2 Bobby Smiths but not at the same time.

Back in the late 60s one of the players had to grow a goatee beard.

And 'Shit Midget', although those ones may need initials too from what I've read.

I reckon we got them mixed up. Graeme was clearly not a keeper and Jamie never made a real mark on the outfield.

Where is Graeme now? Last I read, he was playing beyond the iron curtain and hopefully didn't have to wash his own kit.
