Same here. I wanted him in the summer, and was only happy with Hyypia when we were down to him and Hantz (who I feel would probably have been even worse). Not that I think we will see a change, though; a) compensation - Bloom will not want to pay off Hyypia with FFP in mind, and secondly I don't think he likes sacking managers (Slade was not his choice, and Poyet, well there was obviously a complete breakdown in their relationship following that phone call).

YES Elliott joined Nortwich in 2011 and Hughton in 2012 so perhaps Elliot is coming to us as a prelude to Chris Hughton as manager
