Anybody else watch this last night? Well worth a look on iPlayer if you missed it.

Loads of good stuff, chronologically if somewhat randomly put together; Banshees, Bauhaus, Cure, Killing Joke, Strawberry Switchblade, Shakespeare's Sister, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, P J Harvey etc etc.

Siouxsie was great, Bauhaus not bad, The Cure ok. Specimen were awful - like a very, very bad New York Dolls. Sex Gang Children...... just 'no'.
I switched it off at that point.
Far better was the Black Sabbath 'Paranoid' documentary preceding it - an oft-told tale- but a good one.

Good to see some different bands for a change. Great performance by Siouxsie & The Cure & Killing Joke, but not Bauhaus' finest moment. Specimen is the sort of shit that gives goth a bad name, they look like piss poor cartoon characters.

Would have preferred to see The Cult doing Spiritwalker.
