Jose Riga: Championship strugglers Blackpool sack manager

Blackpool have sacked manager Jose Riga, with the club currently bottom of the Championship table.
Riga, 57, was appointed Tangerines boss in June but has won just one of 15 games in charge in all competitions, with 11 defeats.
The Belgian took over a Seasiders squad that had just six first-team players.
Despite assembling a squad, Riga has been unable to settle a side and had questioned chairman's Karl Oyston's commitment to signing new players.
The Lancashire club, who were in the Premier League four seasons ago, are now searching for a fifth manager since Ian Holloway left for Crystal Palace in November 2012.

Blackpool look destined for a lot worse than L1 I think

Feel for Orlandi ... not sure how he couldn't do better than that

Seems like a thoroughly nice bloke but if that's the criteria might as well get Calderon, who appears to be a favourite for many

But that is his choice of the route to take and is not expecting promotion but consolidstion in the championship, hence the sacking.

Bolton and/or Birmingham picking up 3 points this Saturday and us losing or picking up a point at Bournemouth in the late afternoon kick off will see another sacking.

He or rather his dad put it all in to the club in the first place unlike TB he is seeking repayment of part of it. He is not putting the club in jeopardy as Archer and so did us

Consolidation, funk me, total disaster more like.
Very, very dodgy family.
The sooner they are out of football the better.
Maybe they could take the pricks from Leeds and Watford with them.
