We go into every game with confidence otherwise you’re never going to get a win. "
Jake Forster-Caskey

Jake Forster-Caskey says it is up to the players to improve Brighton & Hove Albion’s current position in the table, starting against Rotherham at the Amex on Saturday.Albion have put in a number of impressive displays so far this season without getting the right result and Forster-Caskey hopes that home advantage will count on Saturday as the team aim to rise up the table.
He told seagulls.co.uk, “We cannot make too many excuses really as we’ve had enough time get it right and it’s now down to us, as we’re the players going out onto the pitch and we’re the ones that need to make it right.
“We’re all disappointed that we haven’t got the results, but on the whole, the performances have been good, but we just haven’t got enough points in the table.
“I’ve never been in this position before, but we need the fans to get behind us because it’s times like these when we need them the most. They can really give you a lift, especially at home and that’s when we need that to be an advantage for us and make the Amex a tough place to come again.”

The young midfielder then looked ahead to the test which the Millers will provide on Saturday and feels they cannot be underestimated after a respectable start to the season.“I saw them play the other day, they look direct and are a really strong team. You don’t get into this league for no reason, so they’re obviously a good side and it will be a tough game.
“We are not just viewing them as a newly-promoted team because that’s when you become unstuck and we don’t want to do that on Saturday. We’ll show them respect, but try to get the three points.
“We go into every game with confidence otherwise you’re never going to get a win. The lads have got that in training, they look really sharp and I believe a win is just around the corner.”
