I love plaice, king prawns and crispy squid.

I love me a seafood platter (fruits de mer) but no-one does a decent one in Brighton, more like fruits de merde.

Have been partial to a bit of salmon too.

I love all seafood so very difficult there is nothing I do not like.
But when I find a very good seafood Paella it is difficult to beat it.
I had a fabulous paella in Cabapino on the costa del sol last summer all washed down with a spanish white recommended by the waiter which was superb. Up there with one of the best meals I have ever eaten.

Fresh Bass, grilled with a sprinkle of salt and pepper, Lemon zest and herbs de Provence. Can't beat it, especially it you have caught it yourself.

I have just thought of 2 I dont like, whelks and jellied eels.
Smoked eel though is delicious.

I think the only people who like Jellied Eels live on the Thames, around the docklands.

What with the price of seafood these days I find it strange that cheaper fish is not more popular than it is.
And by cheap I mean Mackerel and Pilchards and I love a proper kipper for breakfast at the weekend (except that when I belch the following Wednesday I can still taste it)
They can be simply cooked in many different ways and in my opinion delicious.
For an island nation we don't really eat a great of seafood compared to the French, Spanish and Portuguese.
Go to a fishermans cafe down here in the west country and chances are you will see the fishermen eating a full english or meat.

Me neither. We stayed in an apartment up the hill, but loved the place. Million miles away from Fuengirola etc. if I was going to buy a little getaway place it'd be in Cabo.........
