Steve Reeves

Brighton & Hove Albion fans planning to use the Mithras House park-and-ride site for tomorrow's match against Rotherham United are advised to add extra time to their journey, or use the alternative Brighton Racecourse site, owing to expected additional traffic congestion in the area due to a university open day.Brighton University and the club expect to be able to cope with both events, and have arranged additional provisional overspill parking at Preston Barracks, in the event the university car parks reach capacity.

Albion's transport manager Steve Reeves commented, "We expect to be able to manage both events, but it would help enormously if supporters gave themselves done additional time compared to their usual journey time. Or fans may wish to consider using an alternative method of transport or the racecourse site."We've worked with the university and bus company to minimise the congestion around those arriving and departing both events, and I thank our fans in advance for their patience and cooperation in this matter."
