I voted UKIP by mistake , if it was an election tomorrow I would vote Tories probably , but in May it might be UKIP depends what policies they come up with in the meantime .

To be honest, you could probably have missed them off the list completely, I cannot imagine anyone voting for them again

There could be a lot more tactical voting at the next general election. How you vote might depend on what constituency you live in. For example, eurosceptic Tories might attract votes from folk who might otherwise vote for UKIP. LibDems in Lewes might continue to attract Labour voters to keep the Tories out. Green supporters in Hove might vote Labour.

Bearing in mind what was said after the last two by-elections ...
"Vote UKIP and get Labour" (Cameron);
"Vote Conservative and get Labour" (Farage);
"Vote Labour" (Miliband) …
… it's difficult to see anything but a Labour landslide looming.

MPs represent individual voters? When did that come about? Candidates stand as representatives of political parties. And when they get to parliament, they mostly continue to represent their party.

Considering that I am apparently the only person planning to vote for them, you're probably right.
If you are saying that a Labour voter cannot expect a Tory MP to ask a question in the house, then you do not know what you are talking about. I have seen it done. Many many times.
