Said it when SAMMI was announced, we need a British manager with championship experience, why MR Bloom keeps thinking these Johnny foreigners are the answer leaves me baffled

We'd be top 10 by now

But then again we've signed shite and got too many loan signs, but thank you MR BARBER for our brilliant matchday experience

It's pretty obvious an Anglo Saxon "if in doubt, lump it up to the big man" philosophy a la Mick McCarthy, Tony Pulis is not the philosophy that Tony Bloom has for the club and how he wants them to play. Therefore, the managers he has appointed have been ones who will advocate playing a more continental style of build-up play and passing.

Doesn't mean that every managerial appointment is going to be spot on, but in a way it's admirable to have a plan and stick to it rather than just look at the short term gains and then rip it up when things go wrong. What hasn't helped is that Brighton are on to their third manager in just over a year and each had their own ideas on players. With that in mind, don't think changing manager again right now is the right call. Some continuity is required.

If you feel a British manager is required, do you not feel you slightly undermine your argument by advocating that an Irishman becomes the next manager?

He's Finnish. You give people a heart attack or get a death stare if you try to talk to a stranger in Finland. They don't know what passion is He doesn't clap the fans and he looks like he lacked vitamin D as a child. also probably takes 3 hot baths every using all our English water.

You would imagine Hyypia has something about him in order to be a former captain of Liverpool. You don't get that armband generally if you are a shrinking violet. Just because he doesn't eyeball people or scream in their face, don't mistake that for not caring.

British or Republic of Ireland manager a higher success ratio of getting you out of the championship for the pedantic

That may be the case since the division was rebranded as the Championship, but I recall Fulham got promoted from the second tier under Jean Tigana in 2001 and he was from that well-known part of the British Isles called France.
