Bloody Southend Utd cost me £225 today. A group of us in the pub do an 8 timer goal rush bet (both teams to score) each week, and take it turns to pick the 8 matches. Was my turn this week and I got 7/8 with only bloody Southend not scoring. Bugger!

Looks like Scotland could win 1-0/no goalscorer (OG might settle it) I suppose it is too easy a fiddle to get a bet on this outcome

Nope - finished sixth or seventh. Tried to take the lead about two furlongs out but others went at the same time. Got a bit short of room and faded from there.

Just reminded myself why I always ignore flat racing! I only backed this one as my Dad has been following it all season but is away on his hols.

Jump racing will be back properly soon - so much more exciting, interesting, dangerous and more importantly, easier to bet on.
