Sky On Demand - Not so On Demand

Anyone else been having issues with downloading from On Demand?

Last 2 months or so it been taking over 8hrs to download 30 mins & 1hr episodes, also I'm not getting the available prompt anymore, hardly an On Demand service if you have to wait 8hrs.

Blimey....no. 1hr programme takes about 15-20 seconds.

I sometimes have this issue - it's usually my BT router which is the problem. A reset usually sorts it out.

Better than virgin media. Items on their on demand service are not worth watching.

You tried resetting sky box by holding backup button down and switching on and off

My BT router is usually the problem I go into network or something like that in the sky menu and turn off then on again and it sorts it.

Tried all of the above- No good.
I'm on BT Infinity so no issue there.
I've googled it and it seems I'm not the only one, looks like the software update they issued has caused problems, also seems to only effect certain sky boxes.
