Paddy McCourt has been told he made a wise choice when he signed for Albion.
Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill believes the popular Seagulls midfielder can flourish at the Amex after a delayed start to the season.
And he is ready to give him a chance to shine in Euro 2016 qualifiers too as the men in green face the Faroe Islands on Saturday.
McCourt is likely to be asked to play the sort of cameo performance off the bench he has provided for Albion in recent Championship games.
The man once dubbed the Derry Pele has won over Albion fans with some positive appearances as a sub plus an influential start in the Capital One Cup tie at Burton.

O’Neill said: “Paddy still has loads to offer and he has a really good opportunity at a very good club. Let's hope he can take it.
“His club situation hasn't always been great but the signs are he's had a good start this season.
“We had someone at the cup game against Burton and he did well.
“He's a talented player and whether we start him or use him from the bench it's always exciting to have him around.''
Albion colleague Aaron Hughes is a certain starter as the men in green aim to make it two wins from two before their trip to Greece next week.
