Never met a nice one.

A phrase that instantly reminds me of what should be another thread.

'Crap gifts'.

Mooma Stat bought me back a South African baseball cap.
I've never been, I never want to go.
I've not met enough to judge how many are nice, but there's a 'reputation'.
I don't wear hats or caps.

When I was living in Holland, my partner was South African from Natal, and during the WC, she wanted a SA football shirt. Went into the sports shop quite near Centraal Station, and the bloke didnt have one.... without even a trace of shame, he offered a Nigerian shirt instead haha... she went mental.

She grew up disadvantaged because of the regime there, and is old enough to remember the beginnings of it. What she thought of many South Africans, apart from a notable few, were mostly unprintable.

Nope, not really.

I might make the exception for extreme days, like yesterday.
Or proper minus double figures cold.

Over the course of a year my hat wearing accounts for just a couple of days.

You're up late?

Sounds like a nice safe place to like. Must be nice to live somewhere that isn't overrun with darkies running amok robibng and murdering and raping all the white women like in Sussex.

What are they going to do about stereotyping Italians in the Dolmio adverts?

Not even a bespoke Cycling Geeks Cap?

Yes, I am up late, on six straight nights this week. Going a bit nocturnal after a couple of late ones at the weekend too. Still might get out for a quick spin this morning as it looks like a beautiful day.
