Paddy McCourt is significantly overpriced at 16/1."

We secured a nice 5/2 payout on the 90-minute result on Saturday, and with a refund coming in from the Joao Teixeira wager, we ended the day comfortably in profit from the Nottingham Forest clash. No goals scored, but completing a clean sheet made it a decent result away from home at the unbeaten league leaders, and will give the team heart as they prepare to face Cardiff City tonight at the Amex.
They have had a mixed start to the season, three wins, three losses and three draws, and currently sit just three points above Albion in the Championship table, so those positions could be reversed come 10pm on Tuesday night should the Seagulls prevail.
Sky Bet- the official bookmaking partners and title sponsors of the Football League - have opened up their book by offering Brighton at a shade of odds-on (19/20), while Cardiff are relatively unfancied (13/5). In-between sits the Draw (23/10).

It is very difficult to strike a value punt at those odds so we need to look at the other markets on offer. The first slab of value comes in the first goalscorer market. While not a certain starter, Paddy McCourt is significantly overpriced at 16/1. We have the option of backing him for last goal as well at the same price, but I prefer first goal, with the stake refunded insurance.
Also overpriced is Lewis Dunk (33/1). With set-pieces a likely source of any Albion goals, Dunky must have a better chance than the odds suggest.
Finally, following a clean sheet against the league leaders, Sami Hyypia is sure to value a second consecutive one here. Back that to happen at 6/4.
Elsewhere value can be had by backing Norwich/Charlton Draw @ 7/2 and Sheffield Wednesday (6/5) to beat Ipswich.
