Has made a decent start with Girona FC, the Catalonian team in Segunda. 2 goals in 5 games and the team lie 5th in the 2nd tier.

That is all.

He did OK for St. Johnstone for a while too, didn't he? Maybe we let him go too easily - not a world-beater, but does seem to know how to find the net.

Anyone remember Gus' interview on him when he said something like..

"Ees not parteecularly queek, Ees not parteecularly strong. Not parteecularly good with hees feet. Not parteecularly good at headeeng. But he scores goals!"*

That sums him up perfectly. Nowhere near good enough for the Championship but will score goals at a lower level.

We were screaming out for a Leo type stiker on Saturday. Sandaza would at least pop up in the box.

You are not seriously comparing Fan Sandaza to Leo, FFS?

They both have Spanish passports. Is there ANY other similarity at all?

As the OP, I wasn't suggesting Fran is an option for us now, I just thought people would be interested to know how he was getting on.

They are both men, and have two legs and a head.

They don't look that different from one another, could probably get away with using the same passport.
