We need to relax and play our game because no one will beat us when we do"
Amy Taylor

Amy Taylor believes Brighton & Hove Albion women need a calmer mindset when they travel to QPR on Sunday. The defender - who joined Albion from Gillingham in the summer – told seagulls.co.uk, “We need to work on our movement from the weekend and everyone just needs to relax a little bit.
“The composure needs to be better from everyone right across the pitch. When things get on top of us, it grates on people.
“We need to relax and play our game because no one will beat us when we do.”

Albion are currently sitting third in the Women’s Southern Premier League, while QPR are eighth having played a game less, however Taylor believes the London side will prove a tough test, especially playing them away from home.“Last year (playing for Gillingham) they set up quite well at their home ground so it’s not going to be easy, but no away game is.
“We’ve got to set up and play very well, like we should every week.”
Taylor has played in four of the Seagulls’ five league games this season and is pleased with the way they have started.
“You can always do better. There are going to be better games now and then, but as a team we’ve done very well to come together and do what we’ve done so far, but there’s a long way to go.
“I’m playing as both a centre-back and full-back so it’s quite difficult, but with the amount of work we put in both in and out of training, we should be good enough."
