Britt Assombalonga has scored as many league goals as Albion this season.
But he is not necessarily Nottingham Forest’s biggest threat at the City Ground this afternoon.
Assombalonga is the Championship’s top scorer so far this term with eight goals, five of them at home But eve-of-season signing Michail Antonio has been involved in NINE of his team’s league goals.

  • Assombalonga scores against Albion in pre-season for Peterborough
He leads the Championship with five assists and has also scored four times.
Albion narrowly missed a meeting with the former Southampton wideman when he left Sheffield Wednesday just before their opening-day trip to the Amex.
But he has made a big impact on the left-side of an attacking trio who support Assombalonga in Forest’s 4-2-3-1 set-up.
He scored a brilliant goal in the 5-3 win over Fulham in Forest’s most recent home game.
Boss Stuart Pearce said: “I think he has basically got everything an ex full-back like myself would not want to play against.
"He can beat you in the air, he has got pace, power, a goalscoring threat and he takes his goals well. He is a great foil coming in from the wide areas and he is equally adept at playing up front.
"The goal he scored against Fulham had everything*– power to hold the opposition off, technique to get the ball down and composure to slide the ball inside the far corner. It was a wonderful finish.”
At the other end of the park, centre-back Michael Mancienne was recently described by Pearce as the best defender outside the Premier League.
