At the moment, I'm currently in hospital after having a bit of a meltdown, but I've got my iPad with me to stop me from getting bored. Anyone got any suggestions for apps?!? I've got iplayer, Netflix and the like, but only have 3G signal, and I can't get wifi at all. Please help before I properly lose my marbles!!!!

I am a fan of sporacle. Loads if Quizzes ranging from name all 50 states through to TV quizzes to FA cup winners/ league cup winners and plenty more in between.

For games, Stick cricket is good, also Pinball Arcade is worth a look as it has recreations of many classic pinball machines.

Some of the radio apps are worthwhile as you can pick up radio stations from around the world and specialising in all musical genres as well as foreign sports coverage.

google search a book title/author/subject and make sure to type:filetype : pdf

there are many free pdf files out there for you to read. When you open the pdf, click the the top right option 'open with pdf reader' or whatever it says. This way it saves to your ipad internally so you can read it offline.
