If his wage was low , not that that is the supporters problem, we would have nothing to lose to sign him for 3 months extend it if it does work cancel it if it doesnt. SH will know of his ability or lack of.

So long as he doesn't expect to get Prem. wages (or even top level Championship wages) I think he'd be worth a punt for three months. Even if he didn't play much, he might be able to give our current bunch of journeyman strikers a few ideas.

None of them were sh*t. And the Albion provided none of them with one last pay day. Did you have a point you wanted to make?
They were all ex-prem. players, no longer wanted in the prem., and looking for somewhere to end / revive their careers.

And Vicente's last pay day had some pretty good moments too!

Heskey scored one goal in 19 appearances for Newcastle Jets last season, if he can't find the back of the net in the Australian league then I seriously doubt he'll be able to in the Championship.

Perhaps Newcastle Jets played without wingers (or with wingers who couldn't cross for toffee), no creativity in midfield, and a policy of leaving a lone striker isolated without a team-mate within 50 yards of him? Some teams do play like that..........
