** Burton v BHA ** - League Cup Round 3 - Score Predictor

Burton Albion v Brighton & Hove Albion

  • Poll closed .

The Seagulls travel to Burton for the League Cup on Wednesday night. BHA are winless in all competitions (within 90 minutes) in their last 5 matches & have now slumped to 18th in the Championship (just 3 points above the bottom three). Meanwhile, Burton are having a great season (so far) & lie second in League 2. They have defeated both QPR & Wigan so far in the League Cup. It is not inconceivable that BHA v Burton (what odds?) could be a league fixture next season .... Or are the wheels falling off (not for Albion) but for The Brewers, who have lost their last two league fixtures.

Head to head: Burton Albion & Brighton & Hove Albion have never played each other!

So which Albion will prevail? Will Hypia take this competition seriously? Will Bloom be insisting that Hypia takes this competition seriously? How will NSC react if we get knocked out of the Cup & move on to 6 matches without a win (in full time). With nearly 50% of pollsters wanting our manager to go now, it could be beyond the tipping point ....http://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?309388-I-must-ASK-this-question-Hyppia-in-or-OUT

Well, that didn't end well did it, i have missed 2 home games at the Amex 0-0 vs Cardiff and 0-0 yesterday, i wont miss another this season. Promise. predict a comfortable 2-4 victory and progress to the last eight come on you blues. Seagulls. ps what was all this booing about i thought we had grown out of that, a crap response that will achieve absolutely nothing except to alienate the players/management and make them even more sterile as they fear trying things in case more mistakes are made, ridiculous.

Eastbourne
3-1 Brighton

We finish the chances we were creating yesterday, then we'll have no problems. Burton took a heavy 3-1 defeat yesterday to promotion rivals Bury, that along with a midweek defeat to Wimbledon, their only defeats of the season, should see us through. The first goal with be decisive though.

The Astral Planes, man...
I think Hyypia will take this game seriously as he needs to show that his ideas will work, Burton on the other hand will be more concerned about 'Concentrating on the League' for promotion etc. Seagulls win.
