Easy parking, Marina. Free multi story car park. Either a meal there or a walk to the city centre along the front.

Use public transport and have a few shants, its great!
Bit further away, but had lunch at the Sea lane Cafe in Goring last week. Very, very good, with parking right next to it.

Daytime - Hangleton Manor or the Marina, nice and easy to get to and park on site.
After 6pm? Park on street centrally in Brighton or Hove, obviously avoiding any bays which are restricted longer - some are until 8pm. Shedloads of bay restrictions end at 6pm (including near Brighton restaurants). We an usually find a space in Middle Street/East Street or thereabouts.

they are travelling to town for something else, need parking just for the eats..
Definitely don't go Hangleton Manor at night......it's haunted.
I used to live there many many years around 1971/2.
I might go back now (during the day obviously) now it has been recommended. Used to have the most beautiful dining room with the ornate roses on the ceiling.
