Newcastle's "best fans in the world" guff seems to leave out "for getting arrested and banned" for some reason.

Yes, probably the same 'fans' who regard racist abuse and mocking the deaths of opposition managers/players as 'banter' and 'passion'.

The figures show details for each club but it really does depend on what the police are like. At some grounds you can get away with murder, well not literally, with the police taking a softly softly approach. At others people seem to be arrested for very minor offences.

Newcastle stand out for banning orders, but this is not reflected in arrests. Probably tells you as much about how the club is run, as it does about the fans.

Our figures are outstanding on both, which tells you as much about the handful of dinosaurs and wannabees that hang around this forum, as you need to know.
