New album 'Worship the Sun'.

Retro 60s sounding R&B fun with some lovely tracks, well recommended for this time of the year.

Yes, yes, yes. They have a great sound. West coast, Beach Boys-esque riffs and a lovely drawl when singing. Not much difference between the first and this, their second album though so will be interesting to see where they go with their next (if at all).

I think it is more accomplished than the first Album with a host of different sounds. The similar Booker T sound as a basis plus some Country Joe and even a hint of Ramones in a couple of places.

Yep it is very very good and a welcome relief for my poor ears and connected braincell from the dire Independence bollox I am otherwise having to endure.

PS The Staves have a new EP out too, even more good news. Watford's finest (!)
