They're usually superfast to link to, but it now shows a page saying connection reset

Seems to be UK + US sites, not that I've checked any non-English language sites

I did wonder how they would cope with a big outage in their time-critical 24/7 auction operation

Still no connection here, and downdetector.co.uk receiving messages from miffed customers whose items have sold too cheap, or from people who have missed the chance to bid on items they were following, that have finished...

Not the end of the world, but a crack in cyber-commerce appearing
