4:05pm
Hughes on for Dunk for the second half.

4:04pm
Teams are on their way back out.

4:02pm
That's true Gilbert.
The old cliche says managers don't like games like this.
I'd add the*reporter doing the live updates to that category at times*too!
Albion have been alarmingy open at the back but their pace and mobility have caused Brentford trouble in defence.
Of course we also had in that first half Stockdale's first notable save for the Seagulls - to deny Gray, who*has looked lively.

3:52pm
Greer netted again from a right-wing corner but this time it was disallowed – for holding by Dunk away from the ball.
Shame as it was a fabulous finish.
There was some good reffing by Stephen Martin to mention in the build-up. Colunga and Teixeira worked a slick one-two on the edge of the box and the latter was clattered as he gave the return pass.
Although Colunga won a corner, Martin felt the free-kick was of greater benefit to the Seagulls.
Ironically it led to a corner -*from which Greer’s goal was ruled out.

3:48pm
Greer goal disallowed for a foul*by Dunk late in the half.

3:43pm
I was just thinking it looked a bit more encouraging from Albion as they got Calderon forward to send Crofts away down the right to win the corner.
Holla took it from the right, Crofts headed it on and Greer was in space to drive an empathic finish into the net.
Albion looking confident again.

3:39pm
Nice move down the right by Albion to win a corner and GREER thrashes home.

3:37pm
A stoppage for an injury to Colunga has offered Albion some much-needed respite for a few moments.

3:36pm
Brentford had been playing with confidence for a few minutes – back heels, sharp passing moves, etc.
And they attacked with pace down the left for left-back Bidwell to drive the ball low across goal and Gray to finish at the near post.
Home fans in great voice now and taunting their hushed visitors.

3:33pm
This time it is GRAY, turning in a low cross from close range.

3:32pm
Brentford establishing a head of steam now.
They had two efforts off target from outside the box.
Then, of more alarm to Albion, Gray got behind Greer and cut the ball back from the byline. Albion cleared from right in from of goal.
But now it’s 2-0....

3:29pm
Albion have played Baldock into some terrific positions and should have got more from it.
Having said that, McCormack and Odubajo are causing problems every time down the Brentford right.
It has been high-tempo stuff.

3:27pm
The auto-refresh issue was reported to our IT team.
Will do so again on Monday.

3:26pm
Both teams are looking dangerous. Colunga skied a shot too high after some neat build-up.
But then Brentford got Gray into the box and he turned well – only to see his blast superbly saved by Stockdale.
The first home booking went to Douglas for a foul on Colunga to stop a counter attack in its tracks.
Albion got Baldock in from the free-kick but his cutback from a very promising position was blocked.
Then Albion were at full stretch to clear a low cross by right-sided Odubajo who got deep into their area far too easily.
Hectic stuff!

3:21pm
Well that Dunk decision got the home fans going!
I think we all expected red to be shown once ref Martin had judged Dunk had fouled Gray just outside the box and just to the right of goal.
But he angered the hosts by showing yellow – and then Judge rolled the free-kick just wide with Stockdale nowhere near it.
Tarkowksi kept Bees level with a goalline-clearance from Baldock, who had got around the keeper but had to shoot from a narrow angle.
But the hosts got the ball forward quickly and Odubajo took it down before drilling a low shot across Stockdale and inside the far post. Great finish.

3:19pm
ODUBAJO fires Brentford ahead

3:14pm
Yellow card for Dunk when he brought down the goalbound Gray on the edge of the box. He looked to be the last man.

3:12pm
Albion's movement and shape going forward is causing Brentford some problems.
They got Baldock into a great position to the left of goal but his attempt to tee up Teixeira lacked precision.
Right, we have controversy.....

3:11pm
Definitely Crofts who shot against the post by the way!
Having said that, the BBC reporter's view might have been impeded by a pillar.
The shot came back off the sort of front/inside - back at an angle rather than along the goal line.

3:08pm
Amazingly, Brentford fans around us in the main stand are a bit disgruntled wth their side already.
It has been an assertive start by the Seagulls.
They caused problems with a low cross - but referee Martin got in Holla's way as Bees countered and the hosts*subsequently won a corner which was wasted by an overhit cross.

3:06pm
A bright start by Albion and they so nearly have an early lead.
Brentford played themselves into trouble and Crofts’ shot from the edge of the box beat Button diving to his right – but smacked back off the inside of the post.
Teixeira is wide left, Colunga to the right.

2:59pm
Albion will defend the away end in the first half.
All set to go...

2:50pm
The break is over. And Albion are thrown back in at the deep end.
First a trip to a Brentford side who have made their tight little Griffin Park home quite a fortress over the last 11 months or so.
Then the midweek jaunt to Ipswich with Cardiff, Watford and Forest all coming up too.
Let’s deal with this one for now. Brentford won 17 of their last 18 home games in League One last season and have come from behind here so far this term for 1-1 draws against Charlton and Birmingham.
A tough test awaits – but Sami Hyypia has had two weeks to hone his new-look team and made three changes in readiness for today’s tussle.
