"Fifty firefighters are tackling a large blaze at the University of Nottingham.
The fire in Radford is thought to have started in the Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK) building on Triumph Road.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue tweeted: "Help our crews by staying away from the Triumph Rd area & close doors & windows if you're local - flying debris making conditions difficult."
It said 10 crews and Nottinghamshire Police were on the scene.
The fire service said it was called out to the fire at about 20:35 BST."
