There have been a number of successful Freedom of Information requests from fans at other clubs (Manchester United and Arsenal are two high profile ones for example) in respect of the difference between the quoted attendance given out and the actual number of people who attend matches.
Is this information held by Sussex Police or any other agencies as FOI requests have been negative.
Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.
Hello El Presidente,
The information is part of the electronic turnstile operating system at the Amex. This is owned by Brighton and Hove Albion and not accessible by Sussex Police unless on request.
I record the attendance given as the declared attendance at games which is the one you see on the scoreboard.
I hope this answers your query.
Kind regards
Darren
