Badgers I believe. 52 nd Bevendean. Not there now as far as I know. Heard they merged with another Scout group.

When I was a scout I was a patrol leader of the Falcons. In the cubs I was a tawny (all 1st Lancing)
A small point of order - you have sixes in Cubs and Patrols in Scouts.
I was in the green six in cubs and the Stags patrol in Scouts - both 2nd Brighton.

Fantastically I was in Beaver patrol
Panthers, Wolves, Tigers, Lions and a few others. Sadly we never had any Beavers until we attended the World Scout Jamboree in Denmark in 1981...........

I was in Merlin patrol with the 6th Brighton. Still there now as Scout leader.

My Kestrels was 30th Brighton. Brian Powney used to come to the Scout Fete where a goal was set up and you paid to take penalties against him.

Just spent about ten minutes trying to remember, and I can't despite being the Sixer. The names weren't used that much, they usually just used the Sixer's first name to refer to that six which meant that you had virtually no chance of becoming a Sixer if you were called Dave or anything else that common.
Kestrels sound familiar, what years are you talking?
