I always tend to go to a FA cup game if the Albion are not at home. Went to Ringmer v Corinthian a couple of weeks ago and probably would have gone to see Worthing FC this weekend if Brighton were not playing.

The great british tradition of the FAC starting all the way down the football pyramid in Summer. Don't know if Europe's other league's have a similar cup competition where real minnows can eventually, in theory, meet giants?

Went to the Bolton game and going along the Blackpool game so no refusing to go to then amex look at me thread here i'm afraid,COULD BE A HAVE A POP AT THE REV LOOK AT ME POST THOUGH.

i went to the same game nice to see the blues win . currently no manager and went down 8-1 in the last match and could only fiekd 10men ! Merstham this sat could be a cricket score but its a funny old game. Anyhow it was my old man who got the ball in the face and held the game up!
I'll be at the albion sat so no caburn roar lol

Eastbourne United V Hastings
Ringmer V Merstham
I'll be drinking in Lewes pre game so Eastbourne would be easiest to get to. But may well be going out in Brighton post game which makes Worthing more appealing. Think I'll only do Ringmer if I'm still in Lewes come 2:30 which isn't out of the question.

That'll be an interesting game, thats for sure. Eastbourne have had a great start in County 1 after promotion as well, think they will edge it myself.
They had a good FA Vase run last season, if they could get far in the FA Cup it would be brilliant.

Thought about doing this one year, but instead I may just pick and choose what one to go to each round, and take in some decent grounds at (hopefully) a lower ticket cost than league matches.

Looking out for my two local teams so that is Plymouth Parkway and Saltash United.
Eastboune v Hastings is interesting as is the Aylesbury derby and two miners welfare clubs playing each other.

A friend of mine tried to do the same last season with his son. They started with Ampthill Town in the extra preliminary round, went to Carlisle a couple of times (including a Tuesday night) and Sunderland, but it all came unstuck at the semi-final stage, which clashed with his son's duke of Edinburgh award assessment. I think they're going to try again this season.

I recommend the Guernsey match there's generally a following and they like a sing up. (check k.o time as they often ko at 1pm to catch the last flight home)
