Albion spent just under £420,000 on agents fees last season, according to figures released by the Football League.
The Seagulls made the outlay over a total of 47 transactions, including 12 loan deals.
Queens Park Rangers spent the most in the Championship on agents, forking out more than £1.8 million. The least was spent by Blackpool, just £10,000.
Eleven of Albion's Championship rivals paid out more than them, including Bournemouth (over £700,000).
