Sami Hyypia's men take a break from the Championship and travel to Swindon Town on Tuesday for the Capital One Cup Second Round.SkyBet, the official bookmaking partners of the Albion, have installed the Seagulls as favourites, but the 7/5 quote is not as short as it might be, given that the hosts are a division below Brighton.
The Robins´ positive start to the season gives them a chance of an upset, and they receive a 9/5 quote.
The 90-minute draw, and fore-runner to extra-time and potentially penalties, is 23/10.
A 90 minute scoreline of 0-0 is 11/1 and that is very much overpriced, given that the underdogs are at home.

With Craig Mackail-Smith beginning to hit form, Sky Bet offer 11-2 for the Scot to strike first. This might be the match where Hyypia hands Paddy McCourt his debut and, if so, then the Irishman also looks overpriced at 11/1 to score first.
Overall though I do expect to see the Albion qualify for the third round and given that Sky Bet price up both sides at 5/6 to qualify, then this is certainly a wager worth taking.
Away from the Albion, value lies in backing Scunthorpe to snatch a 90-minute draw at home to Reading (5/2), an outcome that Burton Albion could also emulate at home to QPR (11/4).
