Anyone know why these died a death?

With 24 teams and the international breaks, the Championship has loads of fixtures to catch up with which results in loads of rubbish midweek away games. Would have thought attendances would be better if one of those rounds was played today...

Not sure but seem to remember Brighton were not allowed to play at home on August Bank Holiday same for other seaside football teams.

Even better, as then it would have to be one of our midweek away fixtures moved to a much more doable afternoon.
