JFC 7 - under hit too many passes for me
Crofts 7 - seemed to see a pass but struggle to execute it, very tame shooting
Teixeira 7.5
CMS 7 - Good goal, but first touch still an issue, put clean through behind the defenders and messed it up, had great chance to put crofts or JFC in on goal and shot wide


LuaLua 7 - came out wide a bit more than v Sheff Wed
Chicksen - not sure I noticed much from him in his short time
Ince - good run, but couldn't finish it, not a lot of time else

Calderon deserves a 9! In the first half every attack was through him. Ironic that our whole game plan relied on a 34 year old reserve full back. Great system! Meanwhile there were acres of room on the left. Where is a left winger/midfielder when you need one?

As for JFC he takes no responsibility at all. risks nothing, just gives 2 yard passes to anyone who is near enough to take them. His mark should be 5

Bennett 8 Very assured, hope he can get more confident to carry the ball forward and exploit space

Holla 7.5 midfield boss

Bruno 8 Decent amount of flair, seems to be relishing midfield role

Tex. 9 Looks pure class, well taken goal. Needs others to get more on his wavelength. Give them time !

Crofts 7 Not hugely noticeable but did a lot of the dirty work

CMS 8 Ran his nuts off, proper CF goal. Good stuff.

KLL 7.5 - usual 30 minute effort, panicked defenders and worked hard
Chicksen - 7.5 did well
Ince 7 - did Ok, one good run forward late on and a couple of good interventions

Bloody good game, players still adjusting to Hyypia's style, getting the ball forward quicker.
CMS had his best game for a long while, benefitted from not being isolated.
Bennett looks a goodun. Onwards and upwards.

Stockdale -6- would like to see him command his area more especially at set pieces to help out the defence
Calde -7- linked up well with Bruno , deserved standing ovation
Greer -5- needs to defend corners better and is his responsibility to get defence out when too deep
Dunk -7- loved seeing him back getting stuck in
Bennett -6- good debut , got forward well and was always making space
Holla -6- steady debut , kept us ticking
Bruno -6- did great until he was announced he was MOTM
Crofts -7- got forward well and good movement to make things happen
JFC -6- played a couple of lovely balls out to the wings. Getting better
Tex -8- little vicente, strong and nifty and took goal well
CMS -8- MOTM how good is it to see him back! Took goal well , chased defenders and unlucky to not have another.

Kaz -6- glimpses of brilliance when he came on and bought us vital seconds counting the clock down
Chicksen -6- did his job
Ince -6- loved his striding run at the end to give our defence some rest

Good overall team perfomance , sat back last 10 invited them on but we deserved the 3 points .

Stockdale. 7.5 - Decent game, not too much to do. Distribution was much better today.
Calde 7 - Crossing was poor in the first half. Worked very hard, assist for our first goal and played well when linking with Bruno.
Greer 8 - Good game, almost scored a quality goal too.
Dunk 8.5 - Quality, very noticeable what a good footballer he is.
Bennett 8 - Very good game, frequently an outlet to switch the play, always available for a pass and seemed to know where to be and when.
Holla 7.5 - Decent game, when on the ball in the center very good at picking out a forward pass, quiet but effective game.
JFC. 7.5 - Decent game, one very decent strike on target, would have liked to have seen more from him though.
Bruno 8 - Awesome to watch, worked very well with Calde, made the Bolton defenders look like clowns more than once. Some of his passes into the channels for CMS were delightful.
Tex. 8.5 - Quality on the ball, disappeared at times but appeared to good effect when he did, so who cares.
Crofts 7.5 - Very hard working, committed, decent game. If his shooting had been better he had a couple of good chances to score.
CMS 8.5 - MOM - Scored. Had two shots which with only little bit of luck would have both been contenders for GOTS, worked his socks off - poor touch let him down more than once.

Subs

Lualua 7.5 - Looked lively, beat defense a few times. Good game.
Ince. 7 - Did Okay when he came on.
Chicksen 8 - Looked good when he came on.

Never understood why people give players a half mark.

It really isn't THAT important to get their score exactly right to the nearest decimal place.
