Irish club Cork City have accepted an offer from an un-named club for full-back Brian Lenihan.
Albion and a host of Premier League clubs, headed by Hull and Crystal Palace, have been linked with the 20-year-old, regarded as one of the hottest prospects in the League of Ireland.
The versatile Lenihan can play at right-back or in midfield.
Veteran Spaniards Bruno and Inigo Calderon, both awarded new one-year deals in the summer, are competing again for the right-back spot at Albion, although Bruno is currently being used by boss Sami Hyypia in midfield.
