My girlfriends family are from sunderland and this is one of their dream team selections on fb for Saturday to face west brom

No buckley or bridcutt

subs bench boys .........u left us for the bench

I am not sure that is the team I would be playing at all, for starters where is AJ, one of our best players last year, also Gomez is likely to play some part. As for Buckley I had a season ticket the year he lit it up at Brighton and hope he can play like that again, I suspect off the bench with a quarter of the match to go

Buckley was a steal for Sunderland. He has real potential.

Massive upside and for 2.5 mill dont see alot of downside to be honest, if it never works out (which I am sure it will in some way) its not a huge bust

Yes and no. He has a horrific injury problem and we got a decent fee for him. If he stays fit then i reckon he will be the player the most to succeed in the Prem out of all that has left us for the promise land.

Agree he was stand out last year and I dont see a reason why he is not in the top 2 again this year - if Borini comes then top 3

I can see Gomez being big for them this year - I really rate him.

If they really are die hard MAKEMS they are going to kick your ass the next time you call them Mackens. I do agree with your bench sentiments however.

Of course they cannot play Bridcutt and Cattermole

or Johnson & Buckley

It looks like they need two full backs as well. And I don't think much of the rest of their team. Only Cattermole and Adam Johnson are any good and they are the positions that Bridcutt and Buckley would play in.
