Not having a go at anyone who isn't going, just genuinely interested.

Poll to follow.

Honestly can't put my finger on it.

Although it does feel strange, I used to love the mid-week cup games at Withdean.

(Not a moan at the club, before someone jumps on my back)

I am. Negotiated an early finish. 160 mile round trip. Midnight home.

I'm an idiot.

I live in Cheshire now, so it's too far for me to travel, especially as this is my very first week in full-time employment - going to a League Cup game is not a good enough excuse for some bizarre reason.

I'm going - I couldn't on Saturday, so I can't wait to see for myself how bad we are!

My wife and daughter joining us, although my daughter is more interested in the possible Hot Chocolate and Burger. Good luck with that. I have advised her that if we get there by 6pm we MIGHT have a chance of getting what we want AND before kick off.

Yes, midweek cup games were fun at Withdean. Pub, stroll to ground, and not noticeably emptier than normal.

There is something very depressing about 7000 people, or less, in a stadium built for over 4 times that many, watching our second string play a team with no away following. Particularly after such an uninspiring performance on Saturday. I cannot get excited about the prospect.

When it comes down to it I may still go, but I am utterly unenthusiastic about it at the moment.
