They are doing shoreham and Bournemouth, think they may be doing Eastbourne

Funnily enough, just watched progamme the other day with Ewan McGregors brother flying the British one...saying there was only 2 left, one in Canada..surprised they risked bringing it across the Atlantic.

Funnily enough, just watched progamme the other day with Ewan McGregors brother flying the British one...saying there was only 2 left, one in Canada..surprised they risked bringing it across the Atlantic.
It flew from Canada to Reykjavik, think it stopped 1-2 nights for servicing before beginning 2nd leg to good old blighty, think Battle of Britain memorial flight is meeting it to fly together home and over Lincoln, home of the RAF
I believe they are both scheduled to do all 4 days at Eastbourne and both days at Shoreham.

My old man is looking forward to seeing these two together.
When my folks came over to Canada a couple of years ago, I took them to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum based at Hamilton airport to see the Canadian Lancaster. Normally visitors aren't allowed inside the plane (same rules as the UK Lanc), however after an enthusiastic 15-20 minute discussion with the volunteer staff, they ushered him onto the plane. He spent about half an hour inside the plane with the crew and was like a kid in a candy store.
I've never seen him so happy as it made his holiday.
