But it's right there in black & white in the American Constitution

"All Americans have the right to bear machine guns"

...or something.

It's their logic which always gets me

Raso admits that the “safety parameters of which a blind individual is going to have to follow in a close-quarter scenario with a firearm is a lot stricter than for somebody who can see.”


But he quickly adds, “I sure as hell am not going to tell a guy that has no vision and is more vulnerable to crime that he has to give up the right to carry a pistol.


“When analyzing individual rights, we have to start on the side of freedom.”

As long as you use the word "freedom" you can justify anything.

Well, the stupid, the plain thick and the criminally insane are all allowed guns, so why discriminate against blind people?
