Is this his first chance at being first choice keeper? If so, and the fact that he missed most of pre-season, I can understand both his enthusiasm and desire. Hopefully he can do the business between the sticks

I think I read somewhere that he turned out on the away terrace at Crystal Palace V Ipswich, after Fulham had recalled him from a loan spell at Ipswich, to thank the fans and cheer on his former Ipswich team mates.
