The young striker, who has enjoyed a productive pre-season, starts the friendly against Southampton.
He will be alongside new signing Chris O’Grady in attack.
As expected, most recent signing David Stockdale starts in goal after his move from Fulham, which was confirmed on Monday.
Fans will also get a first look at Aaron Hughes when the game kicks off.
